Sorry it’s been so long since we posted, it’s been crazy over this way.  Just to bring you up to speed on a couple things … here we go.

Bryce got his second cast off (he had the first one on for 2 weeks and the second one on for another 2 weeks).  The bones look great and he is beginning to learn to walk correctly again.  Here are 2 pictures of the pins that he had in his foot.

This picture has a picture of the penny that fell down his cast.  The skin was starting to grow around the penny.  You can’t really even tell it’s a penny anymore.

On Saturday, September 29th we had out frist snow.  Here is a picture of the girls with one of their friends out in the falling whiteness.

Today Brinnley ran into the house screaming.  Emily thought something was really wrong.  When Brinnley finally calmed down enough to talk, she told about something out in our strawberry/raspberry patch.  The kids found a toad out there that had scared Brinnley pretty bad.

We think this is the same toad we had in our garden two years ago.  He just relocated.

Tonight Brinnly and I had to mop the floor.  I decided to do it a little differently this time!!

It turned out nice and clean!  Bryce had just run into the house all wet from being in our little pool. 

On Tuesday, Brenden attended his first Cub Scout Day Camp at Camp Jerimiah Johnson.  It was a fun time for him as he got to shoot BB guns, wrist rockets, tie knots, build a little wooden jet, and build a little air rocket.  He had a great time.

We had a really packed, but fun weekend.  On Thursday evening, we traveled down to Manti to see the Manti Pagent.  We went last year and we are going to make it an annual tradition to see it.

We were schedule to have our ward campout on Friday and Saturday, but it was cancelled because the campground was closed due to a bear.  An 11 year old was killed by a bear in American Fork canyon just a couple days earlier, so they closed down any campgrounds where there was bear activity.

So, we went with two other families up Nephi Canyon to go camping.

We also found alot of Garter Snakes up where we were camping.  All the kids got to hold them.  Here’s Brooke with her "little friend."

And last of all.  Bryce the Snake Man!!!!  How many is he holding???

A couple of days ago, Brooke lost her second tooth.  Where it was solid the day before, it was falling out that evening.  Her teeth seem to go from solid to out in a matter of hours.

Last night, Bryce graduated from Kindergarten.  It was a fun little ceremony.  Here is Bryce with his teacher Mrs. Phillips. 

 Last Sunday, actually a week ago Sunday (I’m a little behind here), Brooke lost her first tooth.  She got her first note and cash from the Tooth Fairy and she was very excited.  She loves sticking her tongue through the gap in her teeth. 

It’s been two years since we had the go kart running.  Two years ago, the carburator gave out on the 25 year old engine that has faithfully served me.  I found a good deal on an engine and had enough saved up and I went down to purcahse it.  When I got there, I saw another engine that was a "brand name" engine for only $20 more.  Little did I know what a good deal I was getting.  This same engine runs almost $300 anywhere else.

After getting two new front tires we put the engine on and started it up.  It was fun to ride the go kart around the block.  Each of the kids got a ride that night and loved it.

Now we just need to sand it down and paint it!

It’s that time of year again.  Preschool graduation.  Emily had a very fun class this year, but even after so much fun, it’s nice to have a summer vacation.

Today Brooke went in to have her tonsils removed.  She went in at 6:45 am and came home at 11:30 am.  The surgery went well and Brooke is recovering nicely.
